Roland, who is bridging the gap between standard and plus size, began modeling in his late 20s when he was discovered while attending a photo shoot with his wife, Ashley Ferris, one of Australia’s most successful commercial models. His natural confidence quickly caught the attention of leading agencies, propelling him into the spotlight. He has worked with top Australian designers, appeared in major advertising campaigns, and graced the covers of numerous storefronts and billboards, including Myer, Just Jeans, and many more. He is notably recognised as the face of Johnny Bigg and has also shot campaigns for international brands such as SM in the Philippines.

Beyond the runway, Roland is dedicated to his role as a father. With four children ranging in age from 4 to 16, he is a proud and hands-on dad who values spending time with his family. Despite his demanding career, Roland prioritises balancing his professional and personal lives, often sharing glimpses of his family life on social media.

Roland has used his platform to raise awareness about male body positivity and mental health. He is a certified trainer specialising in fitness, encouraging people from all walks of life and body shapes to live life to the fullest.

Roland also holds qualifications in Health Science, majoring in Health Services Management, and is committed to supporting and amplifying marginalised voices in the disability and youth sectors.  

More recently, Roland launched his youth program committed to creating a safe space to support young people with body confidence and rethinking body image in the digital age.
