About me
Gabby Coffey was raised in Alice Springs and is a proud Wiradjuri woman. She played all her junior netball for NT. While representing Northern Territory at the National Championships she caught the eye of Netball scouts and was offered a scholarship to Caulfield Grammar School.
In 2020 she was selected into the Aus 21 and under team, however covid saw the cancellation of that year’s World Cup. 2021-2023 has seen the 186cm defender cement her spot as a Vixens training partner. Given her relatively young training age and opportunities at the elite level, Gabby’s potential is endless. She can play GK and GD, and her ability to read the play make her a dangerous defender. She’s balanced and agile and can cover moving and holding shooters.
Now playing for the Birmingham Panthers in the UK Superleague, Gabby will be back in Australia in AUgust 2025
Off the court, Gabby has completed a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University and hopes to eventually work as a teacher focusing on First Nations education.
