Mikayla is a top order batter who plays an occasional right-arm medium bowl as well as being a handy fielder.She debuted with the NSW Breakers in 2016, before joining Queensland ahead of the 2019–20 WNCL season. Her WBBL career began with the Sydney Thunder, followed by a season each with the Perth Scorchers and Hobart Hurricanes before joining the Brisbane Heat in WBBL|05.

A proud Indigenous woman of the Kunja people, Mikayla has a passion for First Nations Education, Health & Wellbeing and Mental Health Advocacy which she looks forward to engaging in throughout her career. Mikayla is an energetic and competitive leader who drives for high standards amongst the teams she represents.

Mikayla has been a part of championship winning teams in both the WNCL and WBBL, was selected as the 2021/22 Queensland Fire Player of the Year, and recently was a part of the 2023 Indigenous Australian Team that toured in Vanuatu.
Originally born and raised in Penrith, NSW, Mikayla now enjoys a lifestyle on the coast in Brisbane. Outside of cricket, Mikayla loves spending time outdoors whether that’s enjoying a camping trip, fishing, 4WD’ing or playing golf with friends.
