With various prestigious awards under her belt including the 2022 SA AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award, Robyn is a highly sought-after thought leader, mentor and speaker, known for her cut-though and impactful advice and insight into issues affecting women in business, agribusiness and women in agribusiness.
Founder of Bully’s Meats and a former practicing Registered Nurse, Robyn wasn’t born into farming, she married into it and began her steep learning curve 20 years ago. In that time, she launched and scaled Bully’s Meats to become a prominent beef export business and local lamb delivery service. The award-winning business is not only known for its adaptability in the Australian meat industry, but also for its philanthropic support.
Robyn also co-founded an Indigenous owned and operated food company, Kere to Country, which aims to help stop food poverty in Aboriginal communities via the provision of fresh meat in a sustainable and cost-effective way to communities where food quality and affordability remains a significant issue. More recently, Robyn founded Harvesting Potential, an avenue that allows her to give individuals a ‘hand-up’ via education, entrepreneurship mentorship, food security and other methods of support.
A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an active Board Member of several committees including the SA Leader for Gender Equity and current SA Skills Commission Chair for Agribusiness, Food , Wine, Beverage & Racing, Robyn is a popular speaker and is able to tailor her talk to ensure the audience leaves with new-found knowledge and insights for them to apply to their own endeavours.
She has previously spoken at the AgriFutures Women’s Award, Liptember, Foodbank’s SA Woman of Influence, Limestone Coast Leadership Events, Australian Women in Golf Network, Women in Business retreats and more. Robyn is a regularly on ABC Radio, and has previously been featured in various publications including The Stock Journal, The Advertiser, Weekly Times, 7, 9, 10 & ABC News and Women’s Agenda.
