Kelsey Browne is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, lining up for her 8th professional season.

Browne began her professional netball career with the Melbourne Vixens for two seasons before having a breakout year in 2017 at the Sunshine Coast Lightning in the new Super Netball league, where she developed a reputation as one of the most ruthless wing-attack players in the competition.

After an impressive finals campaign and back-to-back Premierships with the Lightning, Browne was rewarded with a call-up to the Australia Diamonds where she debuted as Diamond #175 in her first Quad Series in September 2018. Browne's scintillating form saw her cap off an incredible year receiving 'Player of the Match' in 2 of the 4 games of the 2018 Constellation Cup helping Australia take out the title.

2019 saw Browne sign with the Collingwood Magpies, compete in a successful January Quad Series in England with the Diamonds and book herself a ticket a pinnacle event for her sport - The 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool. Browne earned her spot as the starting WA for the Gold Medal match where the Diamonds unfortunately fell short to NZ by 1 and took home silver.

A tough year of setbacks including two major knee surgeries saw Browne out of action for the 2019 international season and most of the 2020 SSN season however the resilient pocket rocket hit the big league again in 2021 with an incredible return to form, impressive stats and a Runner Up B&F for the Magpies in her come back season.

Firstly I can’t even begin to tell you how thrilled we all were to have even been given the opportunity for Kelsey Browne to come to our training. I had kept it from the girls until the day before, more exciting. Kelsey was professional from the moment she walked in the stadium. She did so many drills, a great warm up. Match play and then sent down with the girls for a q&a. She took the time to take a photo with every girl and sign whatever the wanted. Kelsey was clear in her direction, didn’t use complex language that they wouldn’t understand. They all walked away in complete awe of her, with some of them now striving for Australian diamonds. If I book another talent they have a lot to live up to, Kelsey Browne was phenomenal.
Wildcats Netball Team Skills Clinic
Kelsey was great, she arrived before the event started, was incredibly friendly and gave an excellent speech that was very in keeping with the ethos of our school and then presented awards and even stayed behind to chat with parents and students at the end. She was excellent. This was the first time I have used PickStar and I was very happy with the process.
St Aloysius College
Without exception, Kelsey was extraordinary and highly generous on the night of our show - both with the audience in the comments they gave while on stage, and with audience members after the show (eg. having conversations and posing for photos). We were delighted with Kelsey, with her openness in conversation, and her ability to inspire. Ours was an International Women's Day event and we really did need women who could inspire, so we were not disappointed.
