Rose Callaghan is an award winning stand-up comedian who has been delighting audiences across Australia for over 10 years.

Melburnians will be familiar with Rose for her regular ABC Melbourne podcast segment on Afternoons with Jacinta Parsons. You may also know Rose’s voice from hearing her as a regular on triple j – as well as Double J, Triple M, The HIT Network (2day FM and Fox) and ABC stations across the country.

She’s also created two podcasts - Friendship Rose (about The Bachelor TV show) and Swipe Night (a salacious look at internet dating) and has appeared on ABC TV shows Artworks, Get Krack!n and Fresh Blood.

After establishing herself as a promising newcomer (“one of the best up and coming comedians Melbourne has to offer” – Pedestrian.TV) Rose really started to get attention in 2016 with her debut solo standup show “Attention Deficit…Ooh a Pony!” which won BEST COMEDY at Sydney Fringe.

Her candid and hilarious recounting of getting diagnosed with ADHD at 32 years old lead to her becoming an Ambassador for ADHD Australia and penning an attention-grabbing think-piece in the Sydney Morning Herald.

More recently Rose has made a name for herself for her posts on LinkedIn, one of which went viral and was viewed more than 7.5 million times. She now has almost 10,000 followers thanks to her cheeky posts about creativity and workplace culture and poking fun at her work as an advertising creative.

Thanks to her wealth of experience on the stage, Rose is a trusted MC and speaker at corporate events. Whether it’s straight stand-up comedy, hosting an event, moderating a panel, speaking about mental health and neurodiversity, or motivation and creativity in the corporate world - with Rose you know you’re in safe hands.

Rose’s previous clients include HEX: Youth Business Entrepreneurship Programs, JCI Australia (Junior Chamber International), BHP, YWCA Victoria, Face the Music conference (Melbourne Music Week), Share the Dignity, Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA), ADHD Australia, Art Gallery of NSW, Inner West Council and the Immigration Museum of Victoria.
