With over 15 years’ experience in the media and entertainment industry, Kate Mac is one of Perth’s most versatile talents.
As a WAAPA graduate, Kate made her start in radio with NOVA Entertainment where she spent nearly 10 years at Nova 93.7 Perth. Within that time she left for a 2 year stint, taking her radio career to the Caribbean before returning to Australia to join Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa Breakfast Show in 2015. Kate then went on to host the National Summer Breakfast Show alongside Sam Mac and James Mathison before returning to Perth to host Mornings on Nova 93.7. Kate can now be heard every morning as the breakfast host for SMOOTH FM.
Kate has extensive TV experience, having worked in both presenting and producing roles for Channel 7 and as a freelance presenter for Channel 9. Over the past 5 years, Kate has hosted a variety of national lifestyle and travel shows, including ‘The Amazing South Coast’, Great Winter Escapes’ and 'Monkey Mia, A Better Adventure'. Kate is currently a presenter for Channel 9's 'Destination WA' along with the network’s newest series - 'Everything Outdoors'.
Kate has established herself as one of Perth’s most sought after voice over artists and MC's, hosting everything from music festivals and Olympic panels to intimate government functions.
A qualified trainer and spin instructor, Kate has made a name for herself in the health & wellness industry and is regularly booked as a keynote speaker to cover topics in mental health, mental wellbeing, the power of intuition and life in the media.
Kate’s authentic following and bubbly personality has seen her work with a variety of brands including Claremont Quarter as their Style Fit Ambassador, RAC, HBF, Maurice Meade, Nimble Activewear, 5glyde, Lululemon, Motion Lifestyle, Active Wellness Spa and more.
Having overcome a number of personal battles in her life, Kate is open, empathetic and authentic in all that she does and strives to leave a positive impact on all those she meets and works with. Kate is a devoted and loving mum to her daughter Bailey and is currently expecting her second child in early 2023.
