Blake Edwards first received a Rookie Contract with the QLD Bulls in season 2018/19 but it wasn't until the 2019-20 summer was a big one for right-arm pace bowler.After outstanding efforts in the QAS Toyota 2nd XI Cup, Edwards got the call up to don the baggy Maroon against Victoria at the MCG in November, claiming 2-64 and 2-28 in a polished maiden appearance. He was the second leading wicket-taker in the Premier Grade competition, snaring 56 scalps for Wests at 14.8.
Blake is a rising star in the Queensland line-up of young quicks and has been elevated to a full contract for season 2020-21.
