Imogen Evans grew up in Northern Rivers region of NSW and unfortunately missed around nine months of football due to COVID in 2021. Upon return, Evans made up for lost time, stepping up in her second game for the year against Oakleigh Chargers racking up 22 disposals, five marks, five tackles and booting a goal in a big win.
At the end of the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft, Collingwood had signed the Queenslander as a post-draft selection. A midfielder with inside and outside balance, the 18-year-old captained the Gold Coast Suns Academy side. Evans is strong overhead and at ground level, clean with ball in hand, covers the ground with ease and is a high-volume tackler.
