Bruce Djite is an accomplished business leader, former Socceroo and respected advocate whose career spans elite sport, executive leadership, governance and media.
Bruce represented Australia as a Socceroo and enjoyed a professional football career spanning more than a decade across Australia, Europe and Asia. Competing in five countries across three continents, he experienced firsthand what separates successful teams from the rest—strong leadership, shared purpose, trust and accountability. Those experiences continue to shape his approach to leadership, collaboration and building high-performing teams.
Following his playing career, Bruce transitioned into executive leadership, bringing the lessons of elite sport into business, government and community sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of the Committee for Adelaide, he works alongside industry, government and community leaders to strengthen collaboration, drive economic growth and deliver positive outcomes for South Australia.
Alongside his executive role, Bruce is a football analyst for Network 10 and has held a number of influential governance positions, including Deputy Chair of the West Beach Trust and prior or current board appointments with the South Australian Multicultural Commission, the Australia Day Council of South Australia, and the South Australian Chapter of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust. He also served as an Ambassador for the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.
As a keynote speaker, Bruce shares practical lessons on leadership, teamwork and creating environments where individuals and teams can perform at their best. Drawing on his experiences in elite sport, boardrooms and executive leadership, he explores what drives high-performing teams, how strong cultures are built through trust and accountability, and how organisations can lead through change while keeping people engaged. His presentations are authentic, engaging and highly relevant to corporate, government and community audiences looking to strengthen leadership capability and team performance.
