Mark Agnew is a two time world record setting explorer. He and his team were the first people to kayak the notorious Northwest Passage and the first to do it under human power in a single year.

Mark draws on his experience in the Arctic to grip and entertain audiences. He also delves into his failed expeditions, examining what went wrong and how he learnt from his mistakes to become a world record holder.

"He was engaging, funny, took the audience on a journey with his talk and linked his story seamlessly to our goal setting framework," said Marks & Spencer's senior manager after Mark's talk.

With the help of leading physicalists, Mark has formed a robust framework to reframe failure as opportunity, and to build resilience. The framework rests on a combination of intrinsic and extrinsic motivations.

Mark is able to tailor his talk to your needs. He has delivered talks to small groups on construction sites and in schools, and also to senior staff at multi-national companies such as AXA and HPE.

He can focus his talk on a specific message to suit your theme and can also alter the length of the talk depending on your needs.

"It was an absolute pleasure to have Mark come and talk to our GP trainee group. As well as him being very responsive to our communications, his talk was inspiring, engaging, entertaining and poignant," Debra Harper, NHS, GP Training Programme Director.
