Born in New Zealand, Ange and her family made the move across to Australia when she was 3 years old. 

Having grown up playing soccer in the southern suburbs of Perth, Ange joined the Perth Glory W-League team in 2015. Across her 2 seasons at the club she featured in 6 games.

In 2019, Ange joined the Fremantle Dockers AFLW team as a rookie signing. Stannett is as reliable as she is skilful and is yet to miss a game since making her debut in 2019. The 24-year-old finished sixth in Fremantle’s Fairest and Best in 2021 as she impressed one-on-one and with her ability to rebound off half back. She was awarded the ‘Best Clubwoman’ award, recognising her ability to always put the needs of the Club first.

  • Signed for Perth Glory Women's Team 2016 & 2017
  • Rookie signing with the Fremantle Dockers in 2018
  • AFLW Debut in Round 1, 2019
  • Swan Districts - 2019 Many McSherry Medal (Best & Fairest Award)
  • Swan Districts - 2019 Rookie of the Year Award
  • Fremantle Dockers - 2021 ‘Best Clubwoman’ Award
  • Fremantle Dockers - Finished 6th in the 2021 Best & Fairest
  • Game Day MC - Fremantle Dockers AFL

Interest & Hobbies

Ange is currently a qualified Personal Trainer and is currently running her own business called ‘Hustle Fitness Co’.
