Dana East joined Fremantle as part of the club’s AFLW program and has steadily built her reputation as a tough, clean and reliable midfielder. Known for her ability to win the ball at the contest, East brings speed, agility and pressure to Fremantle’s midfield mix.
Entering her fifth AFLW season, East has continued to add experience and maturity to the Dockers’ side. Her 2024 campaign included a number of career-best performances, including a 10-tackle game against Melbourne and a strong all-round display against Greater Western Sydney where she recorded 19 disposals and seven clearances.
Now with more than 40 AFLW games to her name, East has become a valuable contributor for Fremantle. Her ability to compete inside the contest while also providing energy and movement around the ball makes her an important part of the Dockers’ midfield depth.
