Dejan ‘DJ’ Vasiljevic is a dynamic force in Australian basketball, currently leading the Adelaide 36ers as team captain in the National Basketball League (NBL). Known for his elite shooting, leadership, and tenacity on the court, DJ has carved out a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable and impactful players.

DJ’s basketball journey has seen him excel both domestically and internationally. He honed his skills at the University of Miami, competing in the highly competitive NCAA, before making his mark in professional basketball. His sharp three-point shooting and clutch performances have earned him recognition among the league’s best, most recently representing the Australian Boomers for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers in 2024. His work ethic continues to set the standard for aspiring athletes.

Off the court, DJ is equally driven. As a role model and ambassador for the sport, he is passionate about mentoring young athletes, sharing his experiences, and using his platform to inspire the next generation. With a strong presence in the sports community, he is a sought-after voice for brand partnerships, media opportunities, and ambassador roles.
