Jake Averillo is a professional Rugby League player who joined the Dolphins in 2024 on a three-year deal, after a successful stint with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Averillo made his NRL debut at the age of 19 during the 2020 NRL season and quickly made a name for himself. He impressed in his first couple of seasons, winning the Bulldogs' Rookie of the Year award in 2020.
In 2022, Averillo's form earned him a place in the Prime Minister's XIII side, showcasing his skill and versatility.
By 2024, Averillo became an integral part of the Dolphins' spine, bringing his dynamic style of play to a new chapter in his career. His leadership and adaptability have continued to grow as he becomes a key figure in the Dolphins' lineup for the 2025 season and beyond.
