About me
B Young is a British singer and songwriter that has had a meteoric rise in recent times. With two top 20 UK singles under his belt and over 300 million Spotify streams, B Young has established himself as a Platinum-selling artist.
Before becoming a music artist, B Young spent several years as a sound engineer, self-teaching his way around a studio, from learning to mix and master his own records to video editing. These skills allowed him to craft his own unforgettable hooks and master his melodic rap approach. His style is most notable in his single ‘Jumanji’, a hit that spent over eight weeks in the Official Charts Top 20. With a back-to-back style approach, B Young responded with ‘079Me’, also making its way straight to the charts.
Since then, B Young has still stuck to his DIY methods and continues to record, mix and edit his own videos in his bedroom studio. Through his own label, he has released singles such as ‘Gucci Demon’, ‘Wine’ and ‘Want2’, which have accumulated over 30 million streams and views in the space of a year. He has performed over 400 shows during his career, recently released his debut album ‘Differences’ and sold out his 2021 UK tour in under three minutes.
