Super Netballer Joh Curran started her elite career playing for the Melbourne Demons Phoenix in 2004 then was selected for the Melbourne Vixens squad in 2008. She moved to the West Coast Fever in 2009 where she was the captain for three seasons then took a break from Super Netball in 2012. She returned to the Vixens in 2013 and retired that same year. She remained in the Super Netball world, coaching the Monash University Strom and the ACU Sovereigns.
