I am a dynamic and self-motivated leader in the High Performance Sports Industry who possesses vast experience and strong credentials in leading, managing, educating and coaching.
My career journey has allowed me to develop a strong acumen at providing direction, leadership and strategic thinking through high performance programs, their implementation and evaluation. Over the past 23 years I have invested heavily in acquiring an extensive breadth and depth of credentials in relation to Sports Management, Education, Coaching and Athlete Development. As a person who is naturally driven by continuous learning and a desire to remain at the forefront of personal development strategies I have remained highly committed to my own professional development. This is exemplified by my Masters Study in Business Management (Sports) over the past three years.
I have been able to achieve a progressive career through a series of appointments, in both Management and Coaching, at the highest level. I have held the positions of Game Performance Manager, Head of Development, Regional Talent Manager, Head Coach, Senior Assistant Coach and Assistant Coach within the AFL Industry.
In addition to my career in The High Performance Sports Industry I have also forged a thirteen year educational career. Throughout my Educational Career I have worked at two of Australia’s leading Independent Schools; Ivanhoe Grammar School and The Geelong College. I have held the positions of Head of Health and Physical Education, Head of Primary (Welfare) and Classroom Teacher.
