A competitive gymnast from age five, Jordan Papandrea competes nationally and internationally for Australia and trains for up to 25 hours per week. Jordan has also cemented himself as a household name after appearing on Australian Ninja Warrior five years in a row and reaching the grand finals four times at only 27 years old.

Fracturing two lower vertebrae in his back just before the national championships in 2017, Jordan continued to train and use the gym to aid in his recovery. He has come through the experience both mentally and physically stronger.

Jordan has also managed to break his right leg on two different occasions, competing in the same gymnastics apparatus just briefly before taking on the Australian Ninja Warrior course. Shortly after breaking his leg, Jordan returned to the gymnastics competition floor to become an apparatus Australian National Champion (a lifelong goal). No matter the injury, Jordan is quick to return to the gym in a true display of determination and resilience.

On top of an impressive gymnastic career, Jordan has also studied for three years in a Bachelor of Pharmacy before moving into a major in Health & Psychology upon realising he had a greater passion for mental health and a goal of becoming a psychologist. Currently, he is studying for his Master of Clinical Psychology at The University of Sydney.

Jordan has a history of public and motivational speaking at many events about sports, mental health and overcoming setbacks.
