POWER AND PASSION.Suzy J is one of the most exciting voices to hit the Australian music industry today. Her incredible vocal stylings reflect her pop and country influences creating a unique blend of power and sensibility. A true singer-songwriter, Suzy J is definitely an artist to watch.

Her songwriting ability took note in 2020 with 3 of her songs making the top 30 in the Contemporary Pop category in the 2020 Australian Songwriter’s Association songwriting competition.

Whilst Covid-19 may have halted many plans for artists, it hasn't stopped Suzy J. Using the lockdown time to her advantage, Suzy J wrote an entire album - proving she really is an emerging talent with limitless potential.

Working with renowned Nashville music producer, Ben Reno, her new upcoming album shows artistic growth and a new sound ready to rock the country pop music scene worldwide.

Suzy is a wife and mother of 2, who shows it’s never too late to go get your dream, mix that with the world of NFTs, what on earth could she be doing?

Hard times hold strong learnings and sometimes opportunities, and that's the making of a true singer-songwriter.

Suzy J has always been a singer, even before she could properly talk, she could sing.

As Melbourne, Australia headed into the longest lockdown in the world in 2020. Suzy found herself  juggling homeschooling of two children, working full time, and being a listening ear and shoulder for family and friends. 

Suzy shares 

“ I realised I  needed something to keep myself sane, driven and to focus on myself and what gives me joy also”

The pandemic kick-started the journey for Suzy and enabled her to focus on what she really wanted to do in life - to write the  songs that have been building up inside for so long out into the world,  and to inspire others by showing them it’s never too late to go get your dreams, even your biggest childhood dreams can be achieved if you hold the right attitude, put in the hard work, be consistent and surround yourself with the right people.

Fast forward to 2022, Suzy J is now working with renowned Nashville music producer, Ben Reno, and about to drop her first album, which is a new sound ready to rock the country-pop music scene.

To add to the mix, she’s already clocked over 50 hours in educating herself on the NFT world, so she can better connect with communities, build her personal brand and gain exposure and share her vision. 

Suzy shares:

“ I spent the whole of yesterday arvo setting up my etherium wallet and open sea account. That was a maze in  itself but we got there! I will get my brother in law to help with the marketplace later in the week, and we should be ready for my NFT collection to drop late next week after the single this coming Friday”

 

With tracks from this new album dropping this month,  Suzys goal is to add a fresh face to an exciting new sound for the country-pop music scene all over the world, and for her story to empower others to back themselves and follow through on their passions.

Suzy reminds us all, hard times hold strong learnings and sometimes opportunities. Keep your eyes open, your self awareness high and back yourself. Time on earth is short, so what have you got to lose? Nothing! It’s never too late to learn something new, and use this to your advantage also.
