BIOGRAPHY
My name is Emma Tonegato and am originally from Wollongong, NSW. I grew up playing every sport I could but mainly focusing on Touch Football, until I was 16 where I tried my hand at Rugby League. From there I moved up the representative ranks eventually winning a World Cup with the Jillaroos. Whilst still at school I was introduced to Rugby Sevens in which I found a love for the game. I stuck with Sevens and was apart of the first squad of contracted players in 2014. Rugby Sevens has given me many opportunities including winning a Gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics and a silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
