Originally from Melbourne, Clarke is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for Essendon. He previously played for the Fremantle Football Club where he was mightily impressive in the ruck for Subiaco in the WAFL in 2018 throughout the club’s unbelievable undefeated season. Although Clarke was delisted at the end of the 2017 season, he has been given a second chance when he was picked up on the Rookie list for Essendon in 2018. Athletic and composed for his size, Clarke will be a welcome addition to the club’s rucking ranks after the retirement of Matthew Leuenberger. Some of his interests outside of football include Sporting events, basketball, live music and multicultural restaurants.
