Create an experience with Jemma Barsby

Jemma is one of the hottest talents in Australian Cricket.  At the age of 15,  Jemma made her Women’s National Cricket League debut for Queensland.

She excited Australian Cricket Fans during WBBL03 when she demonstrated her unique ambidextrous ability to bowl both Right Arm & Left Arm finger spinners.  Jemma is one of the leading spinners in WBBL Cricket and an exciting Left-Handed batter.

Jemma was diagnosed with MS at the age of 19 years old, after she had started her professional career as a cricketer.

 "I walked into the team doctor’s room and the first thing she said was, ‘We’re still going to be friends right?’ I knew then that it was something serious.  This has given me a whole new perspective on life.  It has made me not take life for granted because you never know when things will change. I have the amazing support from my coach and team mates and I am fortunate to be able to continue to do what I love doing”  

Jemma is the Ambassador of MS QLD & WA and Kiss Goodbye to MS. She wants to help raise the awareness of multiple sclerosis, and to show the community that she refuses to let MS derail her cricket dreams. 

Jemma is also excited to be the Ambassador for QLD Racing.
