Geoff Trappett OAM is a former Paralympic Athlete. Competing in 2 world championships, Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Paralympics. Winning Gold in Sydney, being the first person to dip under the 14 second mark for the 100m wheelchair sprint, holding this world record through his retirement in 2005. Accolades include receiving an Order of Australia medal, named Queensland Paralympian of the Year, received the Queensland Academy of Sport Peter Lacey Award for sporting excellence and was a finalist in Young Queenslander of the Year during a 10 year professional athletics career.

Following on from sport Geoff has transitioned successfully to working professionally in multiple senior executive roles within the disability sector.  He currently runs his own social change organisation Inclusion Moves now speaking out on human rights and disability inclusion. A strong believer that diversity should not equal disability or disadvantage, Geoff has built a public profile of honesty, forthrightness and a down to earth passion for the protection of human rights for all minority groups.

Geoff is able to merge both his sporting experience and professional role in an engaging personal narrative covering aspects of integrity and honesty, diversity and inclusion and downright determination to succeed.
